In recent years, the Ministry of Higher Education, by order of the Head of State, has created several new institutions within the State Universities. Thus, faculties were left with a deficit of teachers.
So in order to reduce this deficiency, the President of the Republic ordered a special recruitment of 2000 Ph.D. The Minister, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic who announced this Tuesday, November 13, 2018, said that this job offer is open to Cameroonians living on the national territory or abroad.

"This special recruitment open to graduates residing in Cameroon, as well as those of the diaspora, will be spread over a period of three years, starting in 2019, ie 1000 teachers in 2019, 500 teachers in 2020 and 500 teachers in 2021.
The decision of the Head of State, which provides a concrete response to the urgent needs of the State Universities in terms of teachers, particularly with the creation in recent years of several new institutions, stems from its constant concern to promote the development of the sector of higher education.
